Auger type with replaceable head new design allows the drill head to be replaced instead of throwing the entire bit away when dull. Manufactured with loc-tite on the threads to prevent accidental removal when backing the drill out. Simply clamp in a vise and use pliers to remove the old head and replace for less than half the cost of a new bit.
